Brunner Mine Site

At the start of the week we had a little trip to the 'Brunner mine site'. This is a historical site placed just out of Greymouth near Taylorville. We went there because we are reading a book called  'The Mines Afire!' This book is based on a kid called 'Tommy Carter' writing in a journal he got for his birthday. When we went down there we got to hear more about the 'Brunner Mine' and did lots of fun activities like: Miming scenes, Photo shoots, History lessons and walking track. Then after all this we went down to the Stillwater Cemetery and re-inacted the session and did a little scavanger hunt. And here is a photo of us doing the photoshoot!

    Kia ora Will, I really like your post on brunner mine site. I like how you have described our visit. Maybe next time you could show whats going on in this picture.
