Celebrating Success Book

For inquiry this week we had to do an interveiw and put it onto a drawing for the teacher to make a book with. Our whole class has made one and we are going to put into a book.


Cant wait to see it! Hope you like my work for this term!

Top Team

This week we had Top Team. Top Team is an event were the school gets into teams chosen by the teachers and we compete in different tasks against each other. The team with the most points wins a certificate for Top Team. This year my freind Brennan Thomas's Team won the Top Team event. There were 14 activities. My favourite was an activity were you have to fill up a bucket and bring it over to the bigger one over a obstacle corse withouth dropping it, our team one that one. We got 80 points form it. Thats ALOT. Top Team was super fun. I cant wait to do it next year! Here is a video.

Word Scramble

This week for writting one of our activities is Word Scramble. In this activity you pick a word out of the selection that the teacher gave us. Then we make as many words as we can out of that one word. You then add all of the letters together and you have you're total score. My total was 152. This was my favourite activity out of them all. Hope you enjoy! ( sorry its a bit blury )

PReP

Here in greymain school we have a thing called PReP. PReP Is were you get in groups and  start a little business and create things and sell them in a Mini market, where you have to book a stall, following a Big market were everyone sells something. My job is the Advertising Agency, I get to make groups videos and posters so more people will by there product. I had to make a journal about what happened to that day, Heres mine! Green Eggs And Ham!!!!

( Thought i might tell you this coz itsa bit funny ) This morning I was packing my lunch for school when I saw the eggs out on the counter, And one of them was green! So i did what everyone would have done and got some ham from the fridge and them put them to gether and yelled, 'GREEN EGGS AND HAM EVERYONE!!!!' This week for writting we had to complete this task called 'Show Not Tell'. In this task we had to ake the boring word on the left into a sentence on the left, This will help with descriptive writting.

It s the end of the term! We have done one last activitie on Ivan and we had to make a new domain and this is whatwe ave done!

Science Fair

This week we had a Science show were we made a Science expiremt that has something to do with plants. Our group did a experiment of what liquid works best to grow plants and here is our slide

                   

Anzac

For the end of term we are doing ANZAC activities and one of them is to make a diamante poem useing verbs, adjectives and nouns, We had to put them in a certain way that made it a diamond! Here is my diamante poem. Hope you like it!

This year we went to Arthur's pass for school camp. These are my Best moments

My Most Memorable Moment Was

 When we went to the top of the Arthur's pass walking track, There was a beautiful look out at the top of the mountain

My most funny moment

 When Reuben Pizzato was on the blind-fold track and he was at the end so he let go and walk off and one of the parents was crouching down in front of him and he yelled "BOO" and scared him so much that he fell forward and headbutted the parent and then fell back on the the ground witch had roots sticking out of it witch made it hurt even more. This is how it went: He let go and fell forward then fell back in slo mo it looked like he was bouncing on a trampoline

My Most Challenging moment was

When we walked up the devils punch bowl which has 300+ STAIRS!!! :O
